Licensed Professional Counselor Associate

I believe everyone is made in the image of God, and we each have something to offer to the world. It would be an honor for me to walk alongside you to help you in this life. I am dedicated to help you realize your calling, discover what makes your heart sing, and find out how to show up in life more authentically. Most importantly, my prayer is that through Christian counseling, you will find out how loved you are by the Creator as you fall in love with the way He made you.

My Goal as a Christian Counselor
One of my primary goals is for you to know that you matter. We all need you here for a reason; you have something the world needs. I pray that through our time together, you will gain an understanding of why you were created and what your specific purpose is if you do not already know. As your counselor, I will walk alongside you as you grow and become the person you were designed to be. I pray that you will gain the confidence to be yourself and fall in love with the person God created you to be.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I offer a safe, comfortable space to talk and an empathetic ear to listen and not judge. Each session will be catered to your unique needs and desires as we seek to address your concerns and determine the best treatment plan for you to experience the growth and transformation God has planned for you.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
Jesus Christ is the only answer, and I would be doing you a disservice if I did not counsel from that viewpoint. God can heal anything, and nothing is impossible for Him. “For with God, nothing is impossible” (Luke 1:37, NLT). If we use another framework, the symptoms will be addressed, but I am interested in getting to the root to allow God’s healing power and love to truly change my clients.
Qualifications & Experience
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University. I am also a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
My Call to Christian Counseling
I pursued a career in Christian counseling out of obedience to God’s call for me to help His people. It is my honor to walk alongside God’s people and help them find hope in the light of Christ in the midst of the darkness they face.
More About Me/On a Personal Note
I am also an actress, singer, and dancer. I have a worship certificate from Bethel Music College in Worship Ministry. I love to sing karaoke and freestyle dance. Hip-hop is my favorite style to dance to. I also love to rollerblade, ice skate, and play various sports with friends.

Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
One of my passions is helping others who suffer from chronic stress and trauma to experience a new life. Trauma is invasive and needs to be handled with care. As a clinician trained in EMDR, I prefer to use EMDR therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, to clear the trauma out of your nervous system. EMDR is highly effective in treating PTSD. Trauma-informed therapy can be utilized as well.
Chemical Dependency and Substance Abuse
I offer a non-judgmental approach to tackling substance abuse struggles. I know that life can become unmanageable with addiction. I am here to walk alongside you to help, and all I ask is for you to be willing to do the work. Real change can happen if you want it. I use motivational interviewing to help figure out your desire to use substances. It is important to know what you are medicating, and then we can work together to adopt healthier coping strategies.
Abandonment and Neglect
Being abandoned and neglected was never part of God’s plan for us. It can lead to many various issues, including substance and process addictions to help medicate the wounds. God has more love than our hearts can handle. He can fill each wound and each longing of our heart’s desire. I am passionate about helping others find fulfillment in Him. I will use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to help you experience healing.
OCD
Obsessive thoughts and behaviors can feel overwhelming and alienate you from loved ones. I am here to help get to the root cause of feeling the need to do the same actions again and again. I am here without judgment, rather a curiosity. I invite you to be curious with me to find out how to tackle this together. Nothing is impossible with God! I will use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to treat your condition.
Anxiety and Depression
“Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus” (1 Thessalonians 5:18, NLT). This might sound like a daunting task with our current lives here on Earth. There is no sorrow Heaven cannot heal. Through prayer and various therapy treatments, I will walk alongside you to help the feelings of unworthiness, hopelessness, and fear to leave for good. You are worth it to God and also to me.
